There are many different weapons in GROSS. Some of them are capable of full auto or burst fire modes, others have unique ammunition types. You can take up to four of them into combat with no restrictions. Weapons are heavy though, they slow you down when you lug them around, and even more so when you actually use and handle them.
Gadgets can make the gameplay even more unique, but generally come at a monetary cost. You can take up to three regular gadgets with you, as well as one gun mounted one for each gun you carry.
